Education Development & Quality

The Education Development and Quality function is responsible for examinations, conferring, academic policies and procedures and their development across IT Sligo.

The Education Development and Quality Manager collaborates with the Higher Education Training Awards Council (HETAC) on policies and procedures which include programme design & validation, ongoing monitoring of programmes, external examining and assessment of learners.

The role also includes the management of the Education Development Unit (EDU) which is an educational support function for both staff and learners.
