Education Development Unit
The Educational Development Unit was established in November 2007. The overall aim of the unit is aligned to IT Sligo’s vision to enable the learner “to participate in the total learning experience”.
The unit seeks to support staff by equipping them with the tools and techniques to further enhance teaching standards in the Institute of Technology, Sligo as part of the Strategic Plan.
It also sets out to develop an awareness of teaching techniques used by other education providers and to provide refresher courses for staff on various aspects of learning and teaching.
